First step in Ankara high-speed train line

3,5 will be offered for the first stage of the High Speed ​​Train (YHT) Project between Izmir and Ankara, and the second stage will be awarded next year and the project will be built on both sides. The first step in the YHT Project between İzmir and Ankara, which is among the 26 projects to be realized by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications for Izmir, will be the construction of the line with the proposals for the Ankara-Afyonkarahisar stage. The Izmir-Afyonkarahisar section of the Afyon-Izmir section is planned to be awarded next year. In this way, the project will be built on both sides.

Distance will also shorten

Ankara-Izmir YHT line to reach the city of Izmir via Afyonkarahisar, Ankara and Izmir between the distance of 824 kilometers and 14 trains aims to shorten the travel time. When the studies are completed, the distance between the two cities will fall to 640 and travel time will be reduced to 3,5 hours. Ankara-Izmir YHT line is made in accordance with the double-line and at least 250 mileage. Within the scope of the project, 13 tunnel, 13 viaduct and 189 bridge are planned. When the project is completed it envisions even carrying 6 million passengers annually.

3.5 will end road every hour

High Speed ​​Train (YHT) project, which will download Ankara-Izmir between 3,5 hours, is planned to serve in 2015.
