General Directorate of Turkish State Railways (TCDD) 2012 budget details were announced.
The Bandırma-Bursa-Osmaneli high-speed railway project with the 2008E010070 project code started to be included in the budget in the year 2008 and the year of 2015 was targeted. The total cost of the 215 km project is 963.610.000 TL. The tender for the first stage of the project, 75 km-long Bursa-Yenişehir, has been awarded as 2012 TL in the 150.000.000 budget. The Yenisehir-Bilecik course of the project will be awarded this year. Bilecik-Eskişehir will use the Istanbul route jointly.
