Extension of 31 kilometer railway line completed by Çelikler Holding between Tekirdağ Muratlı and 2. passenger transportation was interrupted for line construction. After the completion of the signaling-telecommunication systems, which will be auctioned by TCDD in 13 January, the new line will be completed by making the “Gar Customs Directorate bağlantılı with the big mix of the line.
Authorities announced that the new works that will connect Europe to the Aegean region by train from Tekirdağ Muratlı by sea will be completed and put into service in 2012.

ŞTİ, the 5-kilometer Tekirdağ Muratlı line, which started on August 2009, 31, was opened on August 31, 2010 by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
