In Kavak district of Samsun, citizens were informed about Samsun Kırıkkale Railway EIA report. An information meeting was held in Kavak Municipality Wedding Hall in cooperation with Ministry of Transport Railways, Ports and Airports Construction General Directorate and Yüksel Proje International Inc. Company that carries out Survey Project Engineering Services. Environmental Engineer Çetin Çakır and Biologist Mehmet Gül explained the introduction and purpose of the Project, significant environmental impacts that may arise from the Project, and measures planned to be taken to reduce possible negative impacts on the environment. The speakers stated that the noise measurement to be given to the environment during the passage will also be made, and also explained the lines that the railway will pass through.
