Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Üçyol-Üçkuyular metro line 1. and the second stage of the tender for completion. In the past week, the second bids were received from three firms that were bidding and qualifying for the tender.
Limak Construction and Trade Inc. The bid price of 87 million 969 thousand 998 TL was 79 million 713 thousand 181 TL, Öztaş İnşaat's offer price of 84 million 147 thousand 641 TL was 66 million 961 thousand 494 TL and Kolin İnşaat Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. 69 million 923 thousand 570 TL. reduced its offer price to 69 million 912 thousand 779 TL.
The tender commission will present the result of the review to the Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Aziz Kocaoğlu. Following the approval of the President, the bidders will be notified of the tender. If there is no objection in the legal period, the contracting company and the Metropolitan Municipality will sign the contract and the site will be delivered immediately.
Upon the contractor's failure to fulfill his commitment, 13 terminated his contract on August 2009 and the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality held a two-stage tender to complete the remaining works. On October 5 2009 the first stage of the procurement (completion) tender was made. The tender was a bargaining procedure, as the remaining tunnel covering works had to be completed urgently.
