After providing information on economic data, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz also touched upon the importance of cooperation between local governments and the business world. Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz said, “Cooperation between local governments and the business world is very important. Of course, there are types of municipalism. There is infrastructure municipalism, social municipalism, cultural municipalism and economic municipalism. We expect local governments and municipalities to focus more on the economy during this period. They will do this together with municipalities and the business world.
Our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and Mayoral Candidate Cengiz Bey is also here. Periodic meetings with the business world, local governments coming together with the business world, holding consultations, and giving the necessary importance and priority not only to social welfare but also to production-oriented infrastructure are very valuable in terms of economic municipalism. I think a municipality has two important duties. One is to provide a good quality living environment, and the second is to provide a good business and investment environment. Therefore, both are issues to which municipalities will contribute. From now on, as before, with Manisa Metropolitan Municipality; As the central administration and local government, we will continue to improve the living environment and support the business and investment environment. Our Manisa has reached a very important place. It ranks 7,7th with its exports of 10 billion. In this sense, Manisa is one of our leading provinces. In order to take this dynamism to higher levels in the Turkish Century and to increase its technological content and added value, we will continue to serve our Business World in Manisa, in cooperation and harmony with the central administration and local governments. Whatever the conditions, Türkiye will continue to grow and develop.
