VAT Energy European Union Project Begins

The "Green Collar Youth Workers" project on green-collar employment, which is VAT Energy's first European Union project and was mentioned by VAT Energy General Manager M. Altuğ Karataş at the Climate Council, will be carried out in partnership with MÜSİAD, VAT Enerji, Euroactiva and MÜSİAD Austria.

Within the scope of creating #greencomp's green and digital youth work methodology within the framework of the European Commission's sustainability competence, sharing good practices and raising awareness, VAT ENERGY will implement Turkey's first energy efficiency green-collar employment project together with its stakeholders.

GREEN COLLAR PERSONNEL WILL BE EMPLOYED

Within the scope of the project, green-collar personnel will be trained to increase energy efficiency for companies and companies will also employ them. Within the scope of the European Union #GreenDeal, green-collar sustainability and energy efficiency experts who will be needed by SMEs and industrial facilities will receive this training for the first time in Turkey and visit sample projects in European Union countries. Within the scope of this first project, it is aimed to increase the number of green-collar personnel in Turkey and to train young and dynamic engineers who will serve the world.

A FIRST IN THE FIELD OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The developing energy efficiency sector needs competent and qualified manpower. In this context, it is important for young people who graduate from relevant universities to strengthen their technical infrastructure in the energy fields of the future and to work in companies that need them. Thanks to the EU project developed by VAT ENERJİ, which is a first in the energy sector, it is aimed to contribute to the solution of the qualified personnel problem in the sector.
