Situation on highways
According to the daily road condition bulletin of the General Directorate of Highways, the safety lane in the north direction (Istanbul-Edirne) and south direction (Istanbul-Ankara) will be closed due to the repair of bridges and viaducts on the 1st and 2nd peripheral roads and connection roads. The works, which will continue 24 hours a day, will be completed on 31 December 2014.
The roadway of the Izmir ring road is due to the road construction works at the 0-1 kilometers of the sparse link road.
Due to the renewal of pedestrian railings between the TEM and Mahmutbey-Çamlıca-Gümüşova sections, the safety strips in both directions and the right strips will be closed to traffic between the 07.00-19.00 hours. Studies will be organized in order to provide traffic flow according to exam and feast days.
