Ansaldo STS won train control and signaling auctions worth 81.7 million Euros in the USA and Australia.
Ansaldo STS Corporation has signed a contract with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) for 73.4 million euros to supply the smart train control (PTC) system to be used on the SEPTA regional rail system, which serves five counties in Philadelphia.
In Australia, Ansaldo signed a Signaling and train control contract for 7.8 million euros as part of the Hunter Valley-New South Wales – Ravensworth Mining Complex railway infrastructure development project.
