165 Kilometers Neighborhood Road from Konya Metropolitan to Ereğli

Konya Metropolitan Municipality has provided 165 kilometers of neighborhood road to Ereğli district after the New Metropolitan Law.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they continue to work to complete all neighborhood roads under the responsibility of the Metropolitan, and that the quality of the infrastructure and materials has been increased by widening the neighborhood roads, thus increasing the road standards.

Stating that they are making efforts to increase the quality of the neighborhood roads in Ereğli, Mayor Altay said, “We carried out a 2020-kilometer neighborhood road work, which is in our investment plan for 29. We completed the works on the 6,5-kilometer Kutören road, the 8,5-kilometer Ereğli-Aşıklar-Tatlıkuyu road, the 5-kilometer Alhan-Yalbur-Taşağıl neighborhood roads, and the 6,5-kilometer Gaybi-Büyükdede and 2,6-kilometer Yukarıgöndelen-Acıkuyu neighborhood roads. Mayor Altay also noted that the length of the neighborhood road brought to Ereğli after the implementation of the New Metropolitan Law reached 165 kilometers and added that Ereğli is one of the districts that have the biggest share in the investment of prestige streets and neighborhood roads.
