Durmazlar Machine’s rail systems initiated export the first tram to Poland

The signing for the tender, which cost about 20 million euros, was carried out in July at a ceremony held in Olszytn Municipality.

Olszytn Mayor Piotr Grzmowicz underlined that the railed systems are the cleanest and cheapest transportation system for the city and the people of the region.

In this context, Mayor Grzmowicz stated that they are working with all their power to improve the number of trams and their infrastructure and that they are very happy that they are signing a contract with Durmazlar Holding, which meets all the expectations.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Durmazlar Holding Fatma Durmaz Yılbirlik stated that he was very happy to be in Olsztyn for such a meaningful purpose.

Durmazlar Machine aims to be in the first place in the rail systems sector in the world. Durmazlar, in 2010 established Durmaray, which design, software, installation, testing and commissioning. The first tram produced by Durmaray was presented to Bursa in 2013 in the name of Silkworm. In 2015, Durmazlar won 60 light rail systems and 12 bidirectional tram projects opened by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality.

Panorama, the new generation of the company, was put into service in Samsun and Kocaeli in 2016. 21 months later, the Panorama model trams will be made available to the public of Olsztyn. Panorama trams have a 30-year life test, tested and approved in international standards, low energy consumption, low noise level, environmentally friendly and safe design.
