New Practice in Public Transportation in Şanlurfa: Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, which has been awarded 4 international awards in the last 4 years in the fields of 'Best Practice', 'Best Technology Usage', 'Service Quality' and 'Accessibility', is a role model and innovation continues.
The metropolitan municipality has developed a new mode of transportation which we call '' SHORT RING LINES '' in order to provide better service to the public in order to eliminate the need of public transportation in areas with uneven areas and narrow roads.
Sanliurfa Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department, which has made a name for itself with its innovations, implemented the study that will meet the public transportation needs of citizens with smaller vehicles suitable for low-base ears in addition to the existing public transportation system.
The transportation needs of the citizens will be met with these lines connected to the existing public transportation routes in Mance-Dedeosman districts where the number of passengers in the distressed areas of the narrow and road traffic caused by the road, zoning or topography of the transportation in the city center is less.
In order to provide the best transportation service, Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality stated that they are working on every detail and President Nihat Çiftçi wished the new line to be beneficial.
Finally, the Metropolitan Municipality, which raises daily passenger carrying capacity with new arrangements and new lines, provides service to approximately 330 thousand passengers per day with daily 190 Vehicle. 2017 vehicles will be transported in 60 year.
