Doors open soon at the UK’s biggest infrastructure event :More than 230 suppliers of technology, products and services for the rail and civil infrastructure markets are now making their final preparations for Infrarail 2016 and the Civil Infrastructure & Technology Exhibition – CITE 2016.

The combined shows, taking place at ExCeL London in the capital’s Docklands from 12 to 14 April, will be formally opened on 12 April by Claire Perry MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Transport.

Infrarail has been the leading UK exhibition covering the rail infrastructure sector for more than 20 years. The eleventh in this highly successful series of events will provide visiting managers, engineers and buyers with an unrivalled opportunity to learn more about the very latest in railway civils, track construction and maintenance, signalling and communications, station and depot equipment, as well as the many other specialised products and skills essential for this booming sector.

Visitors to CITE 2016 will be able to meet suppliers of construction services and products, plant and equipment, geotechnical, tunnelling, civil engineering services, consultancy and project management, plus IT specialists.

The markets covered by the two exhibitions are closely related, with many of the companies taking part active in the wider infrastructure sector. Entry is free of charge for visitors who pre-register via the show websites and Registration for either event will allow entry to the other without re-registering. Online registration remains open until midnight on 11 April. There will be a £20 entrance fee on site for non-registered visitors.

Visitors will also have free access to extensive supporting programmes running throughout the three days of Infrarail and CITE 2016. These include keynote speeches by leading figures, industry seminars, project updates and discussion groups – all designed to increase knowledge of industry developments and trends.
