The exhibition, which is the world’s third biggest railway exhibition, has been organized by Türkel Fair Organization Inc. since 2011.

Supported officially by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, TCDD (Turkish State Railways), TÜVASAŞ (Turkish Wagon Industry Inc.), TÜDEMSAŞ (Turkish Railway Machines Industry Inc.), TÜLOMSAŞ (Turkish Locomotive & Engine Industry), Eurasia Rail Exhibition will be holding its fifth exhibition.

The exhibition, which will include conferences and seminar programs, will host important guests from the private and public sectors. During the exhibition, key developments in the sector will be discussed and new technologies & products will be promoted. It will also be a platform where large firms and organizations to come together.

In the year of 2012, EURASIA RAIL Exhibition has achieved the status to be “an international exhibition” by UFI (International Union of Fairs). Each year, Germany, Czech Republic, Iran, China, Italy, Russian Federation, and France participate with national pavilions.

Three hundred companies from 25 countries took part in the 2014 fair. According to the official fair report, more than 17,000 professional visitors from 50 countries visited the exhibition.

The sector’s giant corporations have already reserved their places at the trade exhibition, which is expanding yearly. The private sector and governmental officials will be able come together during the exhibition and discuss business development and new investment opportunities.

Turkey intends to spend $350 billion on the transportation sector by the year 2023. $45 billion will be allocated for railroad development. 3.500 km of high-speed lines, 8.500 km of express lines and 1.000 km of conventional lines are planned that would expand the country’s railways by 13.000 km to total 25.000 km. The Marmaray Project, which has linked Europe and Asia by rail crossing under the Bosphorus, and continuing investments in high speed train developments are attracting the attention of global suppliers to the Turkish market. The construction of a third bridge across the Bosphorus, along which a railway system will be included, demonstrates how the rail system vision is planned seriously in this nation.
