The construction of the Ankara – Istanbul High Speed Train Line are about to be finished

Binali Yıldırım, the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, regarding the Ankara – Istanbul High Speed Train (YHT) Line said that despite the fact that its construction was a hard work, at the moment the infrastructure of the line is 90-95% ready, meanwhile the superstructure is 30 % finished

The Ankara – Istanbul High Speed Train Line is scheduled to be ready by 29th October. The travel time of this line will be 3 hours, fact which will get closer the two big cities. After the line will be opened the railway usage between the two cities by the citizens is expected to be increased from 10 % to 78%.

15 CITIES will be connected to each other by RAILWAY

Ankara – Istanbul High Speed Train Line and Marmaray Project will be launched in the autumn of 2013 year. But the works for the Ankara – Sivas, Ankara – Bursa and Ankara-Izmir High Speed Train lines continue. In such a way, in short time Ankara will be connected to 15 cities by a railway network.
