Railway Events : Rail-Tech Europe 2013 – Amersfoort

The 9th edition of Rail-Tech Europe will take place from 19-21 March 2013, in the Rail Maintenance Hangar in Amersfoort, The Netherlands.

As you may have learnt in the meantime, the event will be held for the second time in Amersfoort where we can offer exhibitors real tracks inside and alongside the exhibition halls. Rail-Tech Europe has proven to be a major platform for many stakeholders in the rail industry. Companies such as Vossloh, voestalpine, Eurailscout, Robel Bahnbaumaschinen, Bombardier, Siemens and Alstom have been participating in the latest editions, sometimes in combination with rolling stock or maintenance equipment on the tracks.

For this 9th edition we expect Rail-Tech Europe to grow again both in numbers of exhibitors and visitors.

The international exhibition of Rail-Tech Europe 2013 is expecting to house more than 130 stands.
Since the mid-1990s the railway sector has gone through a period of increasingly rapid change. Much of this is down to a growing demand for transport services, a sustained phase of consolidation due to deregulation and industry reforms, and EU enlargement*.

Rail-Tech Europe is the most important international exhibition on rail technology in the Netherlands. Since its first edition in 1997, Rail-Tech Europe has become a leading meeting place for the European rail industry. It has developed itself as an International networking platform where technology and the rail market meet in order to exchange knowledge and do business.

It traditionally attracts many decision-makers, experts, practitioners and advisors in rail technology. It provides a unique opportunity to see at one site the latest developments in the rail sector and advanced rail technologies.
