Rail Events : 2nd. International Symposium on Railway Systems Engineering – Karabuk

2nd. International Symposium on Railway Systems Engineering

The technology of railway systems keeps on getting attention significantly among the other current mass transportation systems. The fact that the railway systems technology is safe, cheap and environmentally friendly by comparing the other transportation methods makes it much more preferable.

It is necessary to improve in this field and educate qualified manpower for our country as parallel to the global devolopments of railway systems technology. According to this idea, it was decided to establish the first railway systems engineering deparment of Turkey in the Faculty of Engineering at Karabuk University.

It is possible to devolop railway systems technology in Turkey increasing the numbers of research collaborations as well as generating new discussion areas. To reach this target, bringing together manufacturing industries and public corporations, determining the problems and analyzing them in a scientific environment seem to be necessary. In this sense, The Second International Symposium on Railway Systems Engineering will be organized between 9-11 October 2013 at Karabuk University. In the context of the symposium, there will be fifteen main headings such as Railway Construction, Rail Manufacturing, Rail Technology, Railway Vehicles, High Speed Trains, Metro and Light Rail Systems, Bogies, Railway Standarts, Optimization, Vibrations, Acoustics, Signalization, Maintenance, Human-Resource Supplying, Safety at Railway Systems.

In Karabuk that is one of the unique cities of Turkey with its natural beauties and world heritage town Safranbolu, we invite you to The Second International Symposium on Railway Systems Engineering. It will encourage us to see you at Karabuk University. We are submitting our thanks from now.

With best regards
