The construction of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway line will begin in 2014 :There has been reported for a while that the construction of the Trans Asian railway line: China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan will begin in 2014 year.

Kanat Abdikerimov, the Director of the project Kyrgyz Railways (KDY) has announced that the construction works of the new railway line will begin in the next year. He also has mentioned that the project includes two options. The first one is for the railway line to be 257 km and with a worth of 500 million dollars; and the second one is for the railway line to have a length of 430 km and a worth of 6 million 600 million dollars.

Along the railway road there will exists 48 tunnels, 95 bridges and 4 stations.
The railway line is expected to bring yearly an income of 260 million dollars in such a way it will contribute to the amelioration of the regional economy.
