Warsaw East Station will be put in service

Warszawa Wschodnia (Warsaw East) railway station will be put in service for passengers at the end of May or beginning of June after the completion of a PLN 60 Million (EUR 14.2 Million).

The project included the refurbishment of the interior, the expansion of the main room, the construction of day and night waiting rooms and commercial areas, the installation of elevators for disabled people, air-conditioning and ventilation systems and new security systems (cameras, access control systems, warning systems).

The project developer is Strabag. The project was financed with PKP funds and from the state budget.
