Netherlands supports railway freight transport

The Ministry of Infrastructures and Environment in Netherlands announced the allocation of a EUR 3 Million fund for projects to integrate railway freight transport.

Projects stipulating the elimination of specific problems are mostly concerned via cooperation in the logistic chain and implementation of innovating concepts for integrating railway freight transport services.

Railway operators can apply for funds, as well as logistics companies and forwarders. Projects could be submitted from July 1 to December 31.

Selected projects will be able to get a reimbursement of up to 50% of costs in the maximum admitted limit of EUR 200,000.
