CAF’s deliveries in Saudi Arabia under question

Saudi Railways Organisation has warned Spanish company CAF that it would not accept the delivery of the entire order if safety problems persist. A month after entering operation, four high-speed trains delivered by CAF have been put off service due to repeated problems.

According to the president of the Organisation, CAF makes efforts to solve the problems. The contract stipulates the delivery of five train and costs of SAR 612 Million (EUR 126 Million).
